    It's a happy day because some people don't think souls will die. They invite their departed ones to visit them like old friends do, so they wear their best, decorate their houses, offer food, put on nice music and buy flowers etc. They are supposed to look happy to see their late ones...Children don't look frightened to reach a skull for candy... Also, Halloween is commercialized...
